Forest Ecology

The chair of the Professor of Forest Ecology is shared by the Finnish Forest Research Institute and the University of Oulu. The post is located at the Muhos Research Unit. The professor`s fields of research cover the multiple-use of northern forests, the ecological sustainability of forest utilization, the ecological issues of forest regeneration and the biodiversity of forests.
