National Economics of Forestry

The research area of the Professor of National Economics of Forestry covers national economic and sociological studies in forestry and wood economics. Question of central importance to the professorship are the functioning of timber markets, investments in forestry and timber sales behaviour as well as measures in forestry policy and their efficacy. The field, in addition to the perspective of wood production, also covers other forms of forest use.
