Metla participates in the Exhibition of the XII World Forestry
Congress, Canada
Featuring the Highlights of the Finnish Forest Research
The Finnish Forest Research Institute (Metla) welcomes you to get acquainted
with its activities and latest research results in the exhibition of the
XII World Forestry Congress, Quebec City, Canada.
The exhibition will take place in the Québec City Convention Centre from
21st to 25th September, 2003. Visit the Finnish Pavilion (stand 130) for
general information on Metla and its research work. Scientific organizations,
information end users and other interested parties are also encouraged
to explore co-operation possibilities with Metla.
The Finnish Pavilion highlights some features of the Finnish forestry.
You can, for example, have a closer look at the interactive satellite-image
based forest resource map of Finland, based on the multi-source forest
inventory method developed in Finland.
The exhibition is open for the congress participants from 21st to 25th
September, 2003. The public is invited to visit the exhibition on its
closing day, Thursday 25th Sept, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
