Cronartium ribicola aecia on Pinus strobus in Viikki arboretum, Helsinki (May 28, 2012). Juha Kaitera presented in this seminar data from his inoculation experiments showing that 19 species in 5 plant families can be infected with aeciospores of C. ribicola and act as alternate hosts for this rust disease.
