Important dates for registration and fees

Registration deadline is April 25 th, 2008.

Registration fee is 170 euros/person.

Registration fee covers:

Welcome icebreaker
Reception at Hämeenlinna City Hall
Conference attendance
Conference material
In-conference excursions on Wednesday 28 th and Thursday 29 th
Lunches and refreshments from Wednesday 28 th May to Friday 30 th May.

In-conference excursions included in the registration fee:

Excursion to Hämeenlinna National City Park & Aulanko National Landscape, Wednesday 28 th May
Excursion to the Evo Hiking Area followed by Sauna and supper in the forest, Thursday 29 th May

Post-conference excursion:

Post conference excursion in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area, Friday 30 th May (fee 30 euros)

Payment instructions

There are two payment options: payment by credit card or payment by invoice.

Payment by credit card

To be able to charge your credit card, The Finnish Forest Research Institute needs a hard copy (by fax or ordinary mail) of the registration form with signed payment information sent to:

You need to add Your credit card information on the hard copy:

Card type (Visa, Eurocard, Mastercard)

Payment by invoice

After receiving the registration, we will send you an invoice. Terms of payment: residents in Finland 14 days, residents outside Finland 21 days. We recommend that residents in Finland choose invoice payment, because all fees include value added tax (VAT) 22 %.

Conference refund policy

Cancellations made by April 30 th, 2008

The registration fee minus 20 euros and all the other fees will be refunded.

Cancellations made after April 30 th, 2008

No refund will be made
Substitute participant can be nominated
