Important dates for registration and fees

	Registration until May 15th, 2007	300 €
	Registration from May 15th to June 30th, 2007	350 €
	Registration from July 1st, 2007, cash payment only at the symposium	370 €

 

Registration deadline for all presenters is extended to May 15th, 2007.

Fee covers the welcoming event, attendance, conference material, in-conference excursion, lunches and refreshments from Wednesday 15th August to Friday 17th August.

Post-conference excursion alternatives:

1. Integrative land use: forestry, reindeer husbandry, nature conservation and tourism in Saariselkä and Urho Kekkonen National Park (Saturday 18th August)
2. Northern culture: Tankavaara Gold Village, Sompio Nature Reserve and Vuotso Sámi village (Sunday 19th August
3. Two-day excursion (programs 1 and 2) (Sat 18th and Sun 19th August)

Accompanying persons

Registration for accompanying persons can be made with the participant’s registration form. Fee for accompanying person is 100 euros. The fee covers welcoming event, in conference excursion and name badge.

How to register?

Registration can be made by online-registration or by downloadable registration form. You will receive a confirmation of your registration.

How to pay?

There are two payment options: payment by credit card or payment by invoice. Late registers must pay by cash at the conference.

Payment by credit card

To be able to charge your credit card, The Finnish Forest Research Institute needs a hard copy (by fax or ordinary mail) of the signed payment information sent to:

Payment by invoice

After receiving the registration, we will send you an invoice. Terms of payment: residents in Finland 14 days, residents outside Finland 21 days. We recommend that residents in Finland choose invoice payment, because all fees include value added tax 22 %.

Conference refund policy

Cancellations made by June 30th, 2007
  - The registration fee minus 20 euros and all the other fees will be refunded

Cancellations made after July 31st, 2007
  - No refund will be made
  - Substitute participant can be nominated
