In-conference excursion (included
in the registration fee)
You can choose from two alternatives:
- Hiking to Kiilopää (10
km, 2-3 hours), Sauna and light supper in Kiilopaa Hiking Centre,
bus transportation to Saariselkä.(map, pdf 1.5Mb)
- Sámi Museum Siida in Inari (guided 1,5 hours + independant
1 hour), other program, light supper; bus transportation.
Post-conference excursions
There are three post-conference excursion options to choose:
- Saturday
only: Integrative land use,
- Sunday only: Northern culture, and
- Saturday and Sunday: both programs.
The excursions are day trips to the surrounding regions of Saariselkä.
We recommend that you keep your hotel room in Hotel Riekonlinna over
the weekend, so please, consider this when booking your accommodation
at Hotel Riekonlinna.
