Ruotsinkylä research area represents hemi-boreal to south boreal forest in the capital region of Finland. Long-term experiments involve, e.g., exotic tree species, permanent sample plots for growth and yield studies, forest pathology, and the effects of air pollutants and climate change. An interpretive trail introduces visitors to Finnish forestry and forest research.
