The Lake Pallasjärvi area is located in the north-western part of the municipality of Kittilä. The distance from Muonio is 30 km, from Kittilä 70 km and from Rovaniemi 235 km. The Sätkenä area is located by highway 79, 10 km north of the Kittilä parish village.
