IUFRO-95 Post Congress Information System Services

The information systems services in IUFRO-95 included:

• World Wide Web based information system
• Internet Cafe
• Speaker's Service document processing
• Exhibitor's networking needs
• Congress PC and UNIX network construction and maintenance

The core of the service, based on the World Wide Web technology, contains approximately 2000 hypertext and hypermedia documents. We used the NCSA http server and a set of cgi programs to deliver documents and create required new ones "on the fly". The documents were displayed on the users micro computer by the NCSA Mosaic for Windows program.
