A big part of the standing tree volume (30%) on the plot#103 in the Vepssky forest was blown down in 1983, the rest was continuously blown down later. So, the small sub-plots were buried under big spruce logs. We needed to restore them. Photo: Ilkka Vanha-Majamaa, 2008.
