Objectives

The project will map the occurrences of matsutake mushroom (Tricholoma matsutake) within the regions of Northern Satakunta and Sata-Häme in Finland during two years (2006-2007). The mushrooms will be hunted in collaboration with local mushroom enthusiasts and associations.

Results

Metla organizes matsutake-seminar in Kihniö, Western Finland from 23rd to 25th of September, 2007. Seminar gathers together people who are interested in matsutake research and business. See the seminar brochure.
