Objectives

The objective of the project is to study the leaching losses of nutrients and heavy metals from wood and peat ash fertilized drained peatlands. Also the changes in nutrients content of the peat layers and tree growth after fertilization will be studied. The difference in the leaching of the loose ash and granulated ash will be analysed.
