Cooperation in developing seed orchards
Duration: 2000-2004
Objectives
The objective of this project is 1) to test the hardiness of all the clones on those seed orchards which are aimed to produce seed for the most northern parts of Finland, 2) to define the utilization areas for bulk seed lots collected from the hardy clones selected by the clonal tests, and 3) to increase the efficiency of the seed orchards by enhancing the pollen spreading.
