Bioenergy Policy Impacts

Objectives

The research project investigates market and other impacts of mainly energy policy measures. Cost-effectiveness of various instruments is studied. The impacts are studied under alternative outcomes of external factors related to economy, technology and environment. The methodology is based on economic theory, and a numerical partial equilibrium model called FinFEP (Finnish Forest and Energy Policy). Also econometric estimation methods will be developed and utilized.
