Duration: 2010-2014
Research project group: Forest Soil Science project group

Objectives

The aim of this project is to provide information about the ecological basis of forest management for sustainable forest production. The objectives are to determine the effects of forest management like fertilisation, liming, soil preparation and prescribed burning on soil properties, stand nutrient status, tree growth and timber quality and carbon dynamics of forests.
