Duration: 2009-2011   Keywords: Forest management planning, forest inventory, forest resource information systems, information network, remote sensing
Research Programme: Research and Development Programme on Forest Resource Information Systems and Forest Planning

Objectives

The project research and develop methods to integrate real-time forest information systems and high resolution remote sensing materials for planning purposes. The results can be utilised in development of operational data systems e.g. for state’s and forest company’s forests and for forest owner’s organisations (e.g. Forest Management Association).
