Research Programme: Renewing wood product value chains and timber procurement solutions

Objectives

The objective of this project is to prepare a new research programme “Cost-Efficient Procurement and Utilisation of Timber in Wood Product Value Chains” at the Finnish Forest Research Institute during 2008. The research programme will tentatively be operative during 2009-2013. At that time, this project will be responsible for the coordination and extension duties, e.g., ensuring that the research projects constitute a target-oriented combination and their various results will be distributed for the users of the information as effectively as possible.
