[  Suomeksi  |  Objectives  |  Project leader  |  Researchers  |  Metla Research  ]

Duration: 2007-2011   Keywords: Ethanol, biofuel, chemicals, lignocellulose
Research Programme: Bioenergy from Forests

Objectives

Wood is a renewable natural source. Forests bind enormous amounts of solar energy as a biomass. We study the use of this biomass to find better and more useful applications of wood. The primary target is to rationalize the use wood in the industry and also take in use new technologies based on wood.
