Objectives
The aim of the
project is to develop new services and products to forest owners living
in the Helsinki region based on their values and needs. In the process
the forested environment is considered as a resource of wood production,
other material commodities, health and mental welfare. An efficient
concept for the broader utilization of the forest resources by forest
owners and for improving the vitality of organizations providing these
services will be developed. The project is also developing products and
services for full- and part-time inhabitants and tourists of the region.
The attraction power of the region and the social sustainability of
forestry will be improved, too.
