Objectives

This is a coordination project of the research program ‘Functioning of forest ecosystems and use of forest resources in changing climate’ (MIL; http://www.metla.fi/ohjelma/mil/index-en.htm). The aims of the coordination project are (1) to plan, promote, coordinate and administrate the research done in the program; (2) promote and coordinate the research with other global change research nationally and internationally; (3) promote contacts with funding organizations and end users; (4) promote information transfer to decision makers, end users and public. The research program has a steering group composed of global change experts and decision makers.
