Objectives

This project is responsible for the co-ordination of the research programme "Potential for the utilisation of roundwood and wood raw materials in relation to the wood product markets". Specifying the aims, plans and final products of the programme (during the year 2002), organising the meetings of the advisory group, organising and managing internal and external information, and assisting the projects of the research programme in gaining external funding.

In addition, co-ordination of the subject group "Diversification of Wood Utilisation" within "the Centre of Expertise for Wood Products" - project manager Jari Kärnä. The subject group is a part of the Centre of Expertise Programme 1999-2006, which is nominated by the Finnish Government.
