Objectives

The main objective of development work is the increase of the production and use of bred material. The second main objective is to increase the efficiency of breeding work. The main project is divede to the three sub-projects: enforcements of forest tree breeding, planning and development of seed orchards and controlled production of bred breeding material. The main goals of subprojects are to increase the efficiency of breeding work and methods, to establish and utilize the seed orchards efficiently and to develop efficient methods to produce desirable reforestation material.
