The Long-Term Strategies of the Finnish Forest Sector (1996-99)

Goals

The first goal is to build a model system for evaluating the long-term development of the Finnish forest cluster. The second goal is to produce alternative future scenarios for studying the development of the operational environment and competitive position of the forest cluster. The project is part of a consortium that consists of Metla, Etlatieto Oy, European Forest Institute and Foreco Oy.

The project will be completed in 1999.
