The aim of a Short-Term Scientific Mission (STSM) is to contribute to the realisation of the scientific objectives of the COST E19. These Missions shall strengthen the existing networks by allowing scientists to go an institute in another COST country having signed the MoU of the COST Action E19.

The duration of STSM is from 3 days to one month in a public or private institute that is active in COST E19. The maximum contribution for a mission is normally EUR 1500.
