Abstract: The pan-European criteria and indicator for
sustainable forest management in Finland are presented for the
first time. The six pan-European criteria were adopted as criteria
for SFM of Finland's forests, and some 160 quantitative and descriptive
indicators have been chosen to describe the realisation of the
criterias. Each indicator is presented with a figure, table or
brief verbal description. Changes in the indicator, when available,
are included to demonstrate trends.
