FOREST POLICY AND ECONOMICS - SPECIAL ISSUE DEDICATED TO COST ACTION E19 - A CALL FOR PAPERS
Title: National Forest Programmes in a Pan-European Context: Theoretical and Empirical IssuesGuest Editors: Peter Glueck and David Humphreys
The Editor-in-Chief of 'Forest Policy and Economics, Prof. Dr. Max Krott, has kindly agreed that a special issue of the journal dedicated to the work of COST Action E19 will be published in mid-2003. You are hereby invited to submit to the guest editors high quality and original papers related to our work with the Action.
It is anticipated that some papers will deal with theoretical and conceptual material, while others will take the form of empirical analysis, either within or across countries. To a large extent the special issue will reflect the debates and discussions that are taking place within the Action. Please will you circulate this message to all interested members in the academic community of your country.
Prof Dr Max Krott has requested the following procedures, which the guest editors have agreed to.
* The guest editors first review all papers.
* The guest editors reserve the right to request authors to make changes.
* Each selected paper is then sent by 'Forest Policy and Economics' to two external referees.
* Where necessary, the author makes further changes as requested by the referees.
* The guest editors cannot overrule or challenge a decision made by the external referees.The journal's website, which includes 'Instructions to Authors', is located at http://www.elsevier.nl/locate/forpol
