Accident/incident management software

In my previous two roles I have been the manager in charge of training and
safety for two large forest corporates. Unfortunately forestry including
harvesting has had a very high accident rate and fatalities used to be
reasonably common. Fortunately it has improved here in New Zealand but
there is still a ways to go.
With this many incidents occurring alot of focus was put on accident
reporting, investigation and analysis of the causes. The results of this
focused intensive research into accident prevention and continues to do so.
As a manager I needed a software package that could handle the large amount
of incidents and carry out very detailed analysis including the calculation
of all the major frequency rates plus some unique to forestry.
As an ex logger myself I also wanted a package that was simple, fast and
accessible to my company anywhere in the country.
I chose a software package from New Zealand called ISM and over a period of
12 months customised the original program to be forestry specific. This was
done with the developer.
If any professionals or companies out there are looking for something in
this area then consider this product. The developer can be contacted at:

Allan Wissing

email: allan.wissing@computercraft.co.nz
phone: New Zealand 9 4245737
fax: New Zealand 9 4242520

I must add that in no way am I connected with the software company, do not
receive any commission or fees and in fact no longer use their product in
my new role but I always try to give credit where credit is due and
recommend those service providers and individuals that have delivered.
