This makes them very difficult to work. Nevertheless, fine woodworkers do use fruitwood in specialty applications. You might consider placing ads in some of the woodworking magazines, particularly if you have some good-sized, relatively straight bolts from the butts of the trees. I've heard that some wood sculptors like to work with fruitwood because of the interesting grains. This is another potential market, but I don't know how you would tap into it. Karl Davies
