Re: PAR light meter



Dear faizal,

I have used the Sunfleck Ceptometer (SF-80, Decagon Devices) in the
boreal forest of western Québec. It has 80 sensors 1 cm apart along a
probe. You can thus ask for the mean PAR, sunflect % (with adjustable
thresholds), etc. You can read the measurement in real time or store the
data for future computer download. It is a good instrument although I
don't trust the computer download system since you have to rely on the
time of day to retrieve the data. The reading number is shown on the
screen when you enter the data but not saved in the file.
