If you hadn't shut down half the National Forests and would stop your
ridiculous "zero-cut" campaign then you would,t be so dependent on Canadian
wood. I bet you'd never thought of that.

Alternatives such as cement and steel? Maybe you should establish vast
monocultures of annual hemp crops with virtually no biodiversity where there
could be trees grown for timber, paper and energy.

I suggest you do the math on greenhouse gas emissions in relation to
materials and energy consumption and you will find that wood comes out ahead
on every count.
