Work with university/industry/government on plantation and natural stand silviculture and related research throughout the Southern U.S.; supervisory/administrative duties; write study plans, grants, publications,reports; data management/analysis; install studies; assist graduate students/cooperators; overnight travel. Requires M.S. or Ph.D., with minimum one degree in forestry; training or experience in silviculture; proven communication skills. Preference may be given for credentials in tree improvement/genetics.
