I can see why there is concern about cutting "Old Growth" Forests. However
to seek a total halt to cutting is possibly counterproductive. Certainly
some of these should be left unmanaged but surely some can be managed
sympathetically (read sustainably) which would include some harvesting. The
campaign, including the slogan could easily be misconstrued and the general
public would be confused. Some may think a 20 year old forest is old ( to a
9 year old child it is !! )

If your campaign promoted "Adopt an ancient forest" and got people to become
actively involved this might lead to better understanding of the issues. The
general public need education (explain the views from both sides and then
they can decide for themselves) rather than blasting them with various
campaigns . We all need to work towards this even though we may have
conflicting viewpoints.
