engineer. I want to present you a software that I achieved. Named "Expert
System on Tropical Timber", this software gives some news on more than 500
timbers from Africa, Latin America and Asia.

The user can therefore have some solutions to an unlimited number of
questions relative to the tropical woods. For example : « Give all the woods
which have : red color, a density betwen 0.6 and 0.8, produces in Brazil,
which dries quickly and used in the building in order to make some heavy
frameworks ? »
I want to create a WEB site dedicated to this software in order to permit to
all potential user to access to it. For it make, the software must be
translates in english (It is now in french!) and achieved with new language
like Microsoft Access, C++ and Visual Basic (He is achieved currently with
the language Turbo Prolog). The user could have answers to interrogations of
this type via Internet.
I solicit you so that you helped me to translate this software in
English and to insert it on Internet so that he could be consulted by a big
number of persons interested by the tropical woods. It is impossible to do
it here in my country due to technical matter.
To build that expert system I use some tools like Turbo Prolog. I
need now to put my database into Internet, so I have to build it again with
some tools like Microsoft Access, Visual Basic, C++ and HTML tools. I know
how to use all those tools but I don't personally have them. Another problem
is that if the Web site is locate here in Cameroon, it would be to low to
access on it because our telecommunications system doesn't support more that
9600 bauds and it is difficult now to to create a web site in my country.
