The book is called "Our Stolen Future". Atrazine may be one of the chemicals that is known as an "Endocrine Disrupter" and what the science community is now saying about these pesticides now is that they work in synergy with other pesticides (many are organo-chlorines) such as hexachlorocyclohexane (HCH or Lindane) and many others and their combined toxicities are up to 1000 times more toxic than their individual toxicities. Moreover many of them function as "endocrine dysrupters" at very low levels in our environment, and the result is lower fertility rates in the human male population, lower human male birth rates (nearly a 2 per cent drop in the last decade), and increased uro-genetal malformations in human males and increased cancers in of the reproductive organs (documented in Europe). > > >At 09:11 PM 4/7/1998 -0700, you wrote: >>There is a booklet put out by the Dept. of Ag for workers who spray >>herbicides.
