Call for participation and paper submission
IUFRO's terminology project SylvaVoc and IUFRO Working Unit 6.03.02 "Trends
in forest terminology" will host a Workshop on "Multilingualism and Expert
Cooperation in Forest Terminology," in Kappel am Albis, near Zurich
(Switzerland) from June 7-9, 1998.
The purpose of the Workshop is to provide a forum for exploring the needs
and opportunities for collaboration in forest terminology. It will bring
together experts in forest research, terminology science and practice, and
information services.
Papers are invited in the following fields:
- Terminology issues in forest science
- Terminology management and dissemination tools
- Multilingualism and expert communication
