The motto of good skeptics, as well as good scientists and a rationally informed public is (or should be): extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. With this in mind, I don't think I'll be joining the call for studies as Mr. Hawkes suggests, despite my interest in hazard tree issues, without further evidence that there is a need.
