True.

Also true.

We have with us a neighbouring country where hundreds of thousands, if not
already a million, hectares of forest have been devastated by fire. The region
has be cloaked with a haze/smog from these fires. For the first time in
history, the Air Pollutant Index overtook the region's stock exchange indexes!
Thousands of people here will suffer long term health effects/problems from
the haze. Some already have died although the exact totals are not known to
date.

The international communities have classified this incident as an
international environment disaster. Yet strangely the 'greenies' which have so
quick to condemn the forestry policies & management in this region have not
lifted a finger to help. We have yet to see anything or anyone from Greenpeace
or RAN coming to help to fight the fires. FYI, thousands are suffering & dying
from starvation in PNG due to El Nino. Where are the NGOs who were once so
'concerned' about the natives & the forests of PNG?

Faced with such a magnitude of environmental disaster & human suffering,
should I remain silent? Should I be concerned about copyrights, etc.....The
media which breached all levels of human decency to hound & hunted a princess
to an untimely death, in a tunnel in Paris, now says I have no right to tell
the world about this calamity? The world now has no right to know? You have
to decide.

As a listowner I have to emphasize that this kind activity is forbidden.

An activity did you say? I guess to people like you, the forests lost to fires
& the human sufferings to follow would be reckoned as a mere detail in
history. How cold can one get?

Any person breaching this rule after a personal notification may be

So what else is new? I have seen this notice several times before. You & the
media can keep your sanitized principles, in your ivory towers, and can still
be morally wrong! As it was said to Scarlett O'Hara at the end of 'Gone with
the Wind' - Frankly Ma'am I don't give a damn! You have before you a very
powerful tool as the Forest List-owner. You can keep your white-washed
priciples, or you can help change the world (apologies to Steve Job & John
Scully). The choice is yours!

God bless.
