Hallo all readers,

SP> For the best information, I would suggest contacting Rainforest
Alliance's
SP> Smartwood Program -- Based in NYC, they are one of the largest certifying
SP> groups in the world and may be able to provide you with case studies,
etc.
SP> Another group in The Forest Stewardship Council, based in Oxaca, Mexico.
SP> It is their hope to standardize the often confusing and duplicitous
SP> requirements by the various certification bodies.

Yes, standardize the certification bodies is one of the aims to keep their
power. There is a need of good certification, but all countries and parties
have to contribute in an equal way.

Bye, Philip.
