Dear List members, Greetings from New Zealand I am conducting a research in natural (community managed) stand of Sal (Shorea robusta) forests in Nepal hill. To see the responses of my treatments, I have decided to consider the following variables. Appreciate your suggestions on methodology and equipments to measure the following variables in relatively shorter period (gap of first and second measurement will be of about a year). Tree height; DBH; Number and species of regeneration; Height, species, girth of seedling <1.3 m high; Foliar N concentration; Leaf area index; and Sapwood increment; Biomass. Also invite your suggestions on any other variables on tree growth that can be observed changes growth in the shorter period.
