The mountain ladyslipper, Cypripedium montanum, is found in the Pacific Northwest at low to middle, sometimes subalpine on rich humus soils and disturbed sites. It is threatened by over-collecting. It takes 15 years to flower. Perennial, 20-70 cm tall, flowers white with purple viens, showy pouch. Rf.
