Re: Cypripedium calceolus

The mountain ladyslipper, Cypripedium montanum, is found in the Pacific
Northwest at low to middle, sometimes subalpine on rich humus soils and
disturbed sites. It is threatened by over-collecting. It takes 15 years to
flower.
Perennial, 20-70 cm tall, flowers white with purple viens, showy pouch.
