If we are to solve our global problems, some of which we know and others we do not know yet, we must stop population growth or reduce its current figure. Someday, I hope leaders from different countries will come together to a common agreement, regardless of their religions and political differences and interests. Some believe that technological development will find solutions for our global problems, but I am not so sure. For this we only have to think about how many big global problems are not related to or even caused by this development. I heard that more cars are produced than babies are born everyday in the world. Why do we not slow down car production? Ecologists, conservationists, and all others who are concerned with environmental problems probably should take the lead to stop driving car to work or shop, et al. ..... Cheers, Ming
