The latest version of the U.S. Draft Vegetation Classification Standards
may be found at:
http://www.nbs.gov/fgdc.veg/
These have been revised based upon a public review held last June and
coordinated with the United Nations FAO Land Cover Classification
initiative.
The draft standards have been presendted to the U.S. Federal Geographic
Data Committee Standards Working Group. The SWG has completed their
review and will be recommending either further revision, further public
review or adoption as the U.S. standard.
