Re: Certification gives the world's forests hope

I would like to be able to answer your questions, but I am not the one who
wrote this posting. I got it off of a WWF listserver, I think it is called
the PANDA listserver. The author of the message is Francis Sullivan, but I
don't know who he is. I forwarded the posting to the FOREST listserver
because I thought it may be a topic of interest.

I do happen to know a bit about the organizations that have been certified by
FSC. There is one in California, forget their name. Their is Smartwood run
by the Rainforest Alliance and there is SGS in Great Britain. I think the
fourth is also British. I believe it is a group that specializes in
certifying organically grown produce.

Cheers,

Roy Hagen

Could you make also this information public?

Aggregated information only makes sense if the detailed is accessible.

In awaiting of your information yours sincerely
 Philip.
