For a study on 'The vegetation dynamics in small eroded (and reforested) mountain catchments on marl soils' I seek information on: 1. The influence of vegetation dynamics on forest hydrology and erosion control in small mountain catchment areas e.g. conversion of even aged monocultural stands to unevenaged mixed stands e.g. colonisation of bare slopes 2. The influence of logging operations on hydrology and erosion in small mountain catchment areas. 3. Data on the effect of different vegetation types on erosion and runoff in mountain catchment areas e.g. % closure of canopy e.g. % undergrowth e.g. spatial distribution of trees, shrubs, grasses 4. The role of the different forest elements (trees, brush, herbs, grasses) in the hydrological cycle of mountain catchments (interception, infiltration, evapotranspiration) Daniel VALLAURI Cemagref 2, rue de la papeterie, B.P. 76 38402 Saint-Martin-d'Heres FRANCE.
