Dear Andrew, occasionally industry initiates campaigns in the press. The people is easily influenced by campaigns in the press. Politicians get voted by the people. Politicians come and go. Where lies the power? I know, this is a little bit simplistic, but I think it's the point. Further I wonder, why western societies take greater and greater risks (e.g. atomic power or pollution), while their individual members try to avoid personal responsibility more and more. If one moves into remote areas by his own free will, why has he got the right to call for the responsibility of the comunity, when his property is in danger, just because he lives, where he moved to. Michael
