I have a large data set of age/height/dbh measures
for aspen stems. I've been examining relationships
between age and height/diameter, or slenderness
as Assmann calls it.

I have been looking for some literature where
similar data sets are considered, especially from
the perspective of light competition between
canopy and understory stems. I can't find anything.

Does anyone have any pointers?
