Why not in Brazil? Did you know that the second biggest japanese population
lives in Brazil? Did you know that Brazil has the biggest eucalypt plantations
in the world? Did you know that we have the biggest eucalypt based pulp mill of
 the world (ARACRUZ Celulose S.A.)? Did you know that in Minas Gerais (my state
 in Brazil) Japan Paper Company owns a very big eucalypt based pulp mill? Did y
ou know that the Federal University of Vicosa has the best undergraduate and gr
aduate courses in Forestry in Latin America? Did you know that we have a Master
 and a Doctorate program in forestry? Did you know that we have a very strong
agroforestry network in Brazil with tropical forests and with plantations. I pe
rsonally work with Agroforestry and I have today a Canadian student (master) fr
om Universite Laval. I have more than 30 papers published in this area in Brazi
l and outside. There are a lot of brazilian in Japan, and you can learn Portugu
