VISITING LECTURER OPPORTUNITIES Through a joint effort, Colorado State University (USA), Hebrew University (Israel), Jewish National Fund (USA), State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry (USA), and the United States Forest Service are seeking to develop a roster of PhD-level personnel potentially interested in spending 6 or 14 weeks (or several consecutive time periods) at the Hebrew University Faculty of Agriculture in Rehovot, Israel, to deliver dual-level undergraduate/graduate instruction. Instructors are needed in the general areas of forest influences, forest ecology, forest and watershed management, and forest genetics. Courses will be taught in English. Curriculum will be developed by individual instructors with appropriate consultation. The first course offering (topic to be determined) will be scheduled for spring 1997, with additional courses offered each academic semester thereafter. Expenses and accommodations will be covered/provided. Opportunities for collaborative research in Israel are available.
