Castro of Environment and Energy, have visited the Flor y Fauna plantations at Altamira (Costa Rica). Aslo present were representatives of OHRA bank ans insurance group and the WWF-NL. At the occasion a report will be presented that has been drawn up as a result of a very recent research by a leading and independent institute in Costa Rica. Central to the research: - the quality of the Flor y Fauna growth monitoring system - the development of growth at the plantations - the expected yields 4 March 10.00 - 12.00 at Nieuwspoort, The Hague Also, the results of an OHRA commissioned study at some of the financial aspects of OHRAs Teakwood policies by KPMG will be presented. Minister Castro will be present in NL as part of the state visit by the Costa Rican President Figueres to The Netherlands of 4, 5 and 6 March. Both President Figueres and Minister Castro will partake in a round table discussion with title "Reforestation Investments in Costa Rica". This round table will be organized by the Foundation Eco Operation*, in collaboration with the Cosat Rican Embassy on 6 March ... Amstardam.
